"The Statue of Liberty Enlightening the World" was a gift of friendship from France to the United States and is recognized as a universal symbol of freedom and democracy. The Statue of Liberty was dedicated on October 28, 1886. 


The White House is the official home and principal workplace of the President of the United States of America. Built between 1792 and 1800 of white-painted Aquia sandstone in the late Georgian style, it 


has been the residence of every U.S. President since John Adams.

The Golden Gate is 1.7 miles long. Opened in 1937, the bridge was built at a cost of $35 million in principal and $39 million in interest and 11 workers’ lives.
